Job summary

TEKsystems is offering a ten-week paid internship designed for undergraduate students exploring outside sales and business development. No IT background is required, and interns are paired with mentors to guide day-to-day tasks and longer-term projects.

Participants will have executive guest speaker calls, help with sales territory reviews, and may be considered for a full-time role post graduation in Account Management Government Services.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in undergraduate sales program—rising seniors.
• Strong desire to work in outside sales.
• Excellent ability to establish and maintain solid relationships.
• Accountable and able to work independently, as well as with a team.

Responsibilities

• Ten-week paid program June–August.
• No IT knowledge necessary.
• Assigned mentors to guide you through the experience and provide resources.
• Executive guest speaker calls to learn about different career paths at TEKsystems.
• Assist the office with sales territory reviews, business development, outbound calls and setting up meetings.
• Upon completion of the program, you’ll have the opportunity for a full-time role post graduation in Sales (Account Management).
