Job summary

Nucor DJJ, a division of Nucor Corporation, invites you to join a 10-week Sales Development internship in Cincinnati. You will work 40 hours per week and earn a competitive wage while supporting cross-department teams and learning how DJJ partners with customers to maximize opportunities.

You'll shadow commodities traders, participate in meetings and tours of steel mills and scrap yards, and present projects to leadership.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student in business discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and ability to work with professionals in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with various departments to understand steel lifecycle and DJJ operations.
• Shadow traders to learn how relationships with customers are developed.
• Attend the Nucor Intern Summit with other interns.
• Participate in customer meetings and tours of mills and scrap yards.
• Present projects and findings to leadership at the end of the internship.
• Potential full-time relocation to district offices after conversion.
