The Operations Management Internship provides hands‑on, fast‑paced experience in the scrap metal recycling business. The goal of the program is to learn key facets of the operation from the ground up and understand what a career in scrap metal recycling and operations leadership could look like after graduation.
Interns learn alongside operations teammates and leaders to build fundamental knowledge of material identification, scrap processing, daily facility operations, supply chain, transportation and logistics, quality control, inventory practices, and equipment maintenance. The internship is designed to strengthen communication, decision‑making, relationship‑building, adaptability, and problem‑solving skills in an industrial environment.
