Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Sales Development Director for the New York / New England territory. The ideal candidate can reside anywhere in NE Pennsylvania, Connecticut, or Massachusetts.

Job Description:

The Sales Development Director (SDD) will be responsible for developing and managing growth among independent dealers serving both single-family and multi-family markets in our Midwest region. As a key representative of the organization and product lines, the SDD will educate market members about our products, programs, and opportunities in storage and organization. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Target and sell to new dealer & builder partners
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing dealers
  • Promote the quality and innovation of our products and technology platforms, and facilitate the transition of builders and owner-developers to upgraded storage options
  • Network and build relationships with single-family and multi-family owners, architects, general contractors, builders, and installing dealers, selling them on Organized Living products and programs
  • Travel regularly within the territory to current and prospective customers
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of sales experience (minimum)
  • Comfortable with latest technologies, including presentation software, mobile, CRM, and online applications
  • Willing to travel 50-60% of the time
  • Competitive, energetic, motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, focused, and passionate about sales
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and self-driven
  • Ability to work collaboratively and leverage influencer channels
  • High EQ and a Challenger Sales mentality
  • Strong business development and account management skills, with excellent presentation, negotiation, and persuasion abilities
  • Strategic thinker with proven tactical execution, including territory planning
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
