Due to our growth, we are seeking a Sales Development Director for the New York / New England territory. The ideal candidate can reside anywhere in NE Pennsylvania, Connecticut, or Massachusetts.

Job Description

The Sales Development Director (SDD) is responsible for developing and managing growth among independent dealers serving single-family and multifamily markets in our Midwest region. The SDD will represent the organization and product lines, educating market members about our products, programs, and opportunities in storage and organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Target and sell to new dealer & builder partners
  • Establish and nurture relationships with existing dealers
  • Promote the quality and innovation of our products and technology platforms, encouraging builders and owner-developers to upgrade storage options
  • Network with single-family and multi-family owners, architects, general contractors, builders, and installing dealers, selling them on Organized Living products and programs
  • Travel regularly within the territory to current and prospective customers
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of sales experience (minimum)
  • Familiarity with presentation software, mobile tools, CRM, and online applications
  • Willingness to travel 50-60%
  • Energetic, competitive, with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for selling
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work well with team members and leverage influencer channels
  • High EQ and Challenger Sales mentality
  • Strong business development, account management, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Strategic thinker with proven tactical execution and territory planning skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
