Job summary

HNI Corporation is seeking a Sales Development Associate to join the Workplace Furnishings team. The role focuses on increasing sales across accounts in designated territories, primarily via remote channels, with in-market visits as needed.

You will engage across departments, build quotes and presentations, and use Salesforce to track activities and funnel progress. Relocation within the US after the program may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience through internship or coursework preferred.
• 3.5 GPA or higher preferred.
• Ability to relocate within the US after program completion.

Responsibilities

• Engage in remote and in-market sales activities to drive volume across assigned accounts.
• Create quotes, renderings, submissions, and competitive comparisons to support targets.
• Develop presentations to support client engagement and sales proposals.
• Travel to key accounts, market blitzes, and trade shows as needed.
• Document activities in Salesforce and manage the sales funnel for reporting.
