Job summary

Ziegler Inc. is launching a Sales Development Program in Altoona, IA for motivated individuals. You will rotate through Sales, Parts, Product Support, Marketing, and Technology, learning from mentors and gaining hands-on experience to prepare for a future Sales Representative or Account Manager role.

The program includes training, exposure to Construction and Agriculture markets, and potential placement in Minneapolis or Des Moines after 6–8 months. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Strong industry background with knowledge of construction or agriculture helpful.
• Experience in sales and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Learn organizational structure, workflows, and product lines at Ziegler.
• Shadow reps during customer visits, calls, and equipment demos.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer data in the CRM.
• Support operations across Sales, Parts, Service, and Marketing.
• Engage professionally with customers and teammates in all settings.
