Affordable Home Furnishings in Hammond, LA is seeking a Sales & Customer Success Representative to help local families furnish their homes while advancing with a family-owned company.

This role blends customer service, sales, account management, deliveries, and problem-solving. You’ll build relationships in-store, by phone, and in the community, with a clear path to advancement into store management for motivated team members.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using computers and technology.

• Ability to lift and move furniture and appliances.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Comfortable working both inside the store and out in the field.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find furniture, appliances, and electronics they'll love.
• Build relationships with customers in-store, by phone, and in the community.
• Manage customer accounts and payment collections by phone and field visits.
• Assist with deliveries, pickups, and merchandise setup.
• Assemble furniture and prepare merchandise for the showroom.
• Maintain attractive showroom displays.
• Help customers resolve issues and find solutions.
• Load and unload merchandise.
• Support daily store operations and team goals.

Schedule

Typically around 45 hours per week:

• Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM - 7:0 0 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• One weekday off
• Sundays off
