Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command (NEX) Norfolk seeks a Sales Associate for the mini mart/CEP 76. You will sell general merchandise, greet customers, suggest add-ons, handle cash register transactions, and support the daily operation of the Food and Beverage Convenience Bar.

You will stock shelves, maintain displays, follow store policies, participate in team meetings, and provide friendly, professional service to patrons. High school diploma preferred; no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and engages customers, assists in merchandise selection, and suggests add-ons.
• Handles cash register transactions accurately and processes sales efficiently.
• Maintains stocked, neatly arranged areas and communicates stock needs to management.
• Assists in opening/closing the mini mart and Food & Beverage bar operations as required.
• Supports store policies, participates in team meetings, and helps deter theft.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
