Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command’s Norfolk Fleet Store is seeking a Sales Associate to support general merchandise sales and service. You will work as part of a sales team to anticipate and exceed customer expectations, assist in the food and beverage bar operations, and help with stocking, merchandising, and daily store tasks.

No experience is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The role includes handling sales transactions and contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets, and engages customers in conversation for purposes of providing sales related assistance.
• Interacts with customers and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner, adhering to dress code.
• Assists in opening/closing the Food and Beverage Convenience Bar and displays/stocking duties.
• Completes sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Advise customers of sales events, services, and NEXCARD benefits.
