Job summary

AC Hotel Greenville, the Residence Inn/Springhill Suites Greenville and the Courtyard downtown Greenville are seeking an Area Sales Coordinator to join our team. The role involves maintaining information on hotel facilities, answering sales lines with appropriate verbiage, and promoting exceptional guest experiences.

You will coordinate with sales and management, handle reservations and reports, and ensure accurate rate quotations while upholding policies.

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

• Maintain information on hotel facilities to promote to guests and callers.
• Answer Sales phone lines with clear and pleasant tone using correct hotel sales verbiage.
• Take ownership of each call and anticipate caller needs to create a great Guest Experience.
• Provide accurate information regarding availability, rates, facilities, and services.
• Operate computer system reservations and print reports.
• Adhere to reservation policies including room blocks and rate quotations.
• Communicate effectively with hotel departments and sales team.
• Assist Sales Department as needed.
• Complete required training and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

The beautiful AC Hotel Greenville, the Residence Inn/Springhill Suites Greenville and the Courtyard downtown Greenville are looking for a knowledgeable, hardworking and energetic Area Sales Coordinator to join our team.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain information on hotel facilities to promote to guests and callers.
• Answer Sales phone lines using a clear and pleasant tone of voice using correct hotel sales verbiage. Actively listen to callers, responding to their requests in a timely manner.
• Take personal ownership of each call and anticipate the caller’s needs to create the ultimate Guest Experience.
• Provide accurate information regarding availability, guestroom types and accommodations, room rates, hotel facilities, and services, local attractions/events, transportation to and from the hotel, etc.
• Operate computer system reservations. Initiate and retrieve printed reports from computer printers.
• Adhere to all policies related to reservation operations, including the proper handling of room blocks, closed-out periods, rate quotations, etc.
• Maintain effective communication with all hotel departments while working closely with the sales department and management.
• Assisting Sales Department as needed.
• Completes all training as assigned.
• Always maintains a clean and neat appearance.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English
