Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller is seeking an organized Projects & Proposals Coordinator in Green Bay, WI to ensure complete, accurate technical proposals and timely order acknowledgments. You will act as the liaison between Sales Executives, Engineering, Operations and customers to drive project success.

  • Four to six years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project management experience preferred.

  • Act as single point of contact between Engineering, Operations, Sales Executives, and customers to ensure project success.
  • Maintain integrity of customer data in Dynamics 365 CE and participate in Mission Control Room meetings.
  • Assist in resolving customer financial issues, billing discrepancies, and past due invoices.

Job Description

The position is responsible for ensuring that customers receive complete, accurate and timely technical proposals, order acknowledgements, and function as the liaison between Sales Executives, internal departments, and customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Work with Sales Executives to coordinate technical reviews with customers, Engineering, and Operations to review the RFQ to determine scope and project risks.
  • Maintain proposal formats for use by Sales Executives, including structure, format, and accuracy of content.
  • Enter orders and billing plans in D365 F&O and maintain specifications for all sold jobs.
  • Coordinate, participate in and occasionally conduct customer visits.
  • Organize internal and external (when required) customer machine demos.
  • Participate in Sales kick-off/RBD meetings.
  • Assist Managing projects at larger revenue levels and/or with moderate risks, following the Committed L3 Playbook processes.
  • Future Project Management possible next step, once trained and proven capable.
  • Act as the single point of contact between Engineering, Operations, and Sales Executives, or directly with the customer to ensure project success.
  • Maintain integrity of customer data in Microsoft D365 CE.
  • Actively participate in Mission Control Room meetings.
  • Facilitate resolution of customer related financial issues, billing discrepancies, past due invoices and credit holds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • An associate degree in a technical or business-related discipline is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Four to six years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project Management experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics365 F&O and/or CE is preferred, but a willingness to learn it is required.
  • Ability to work within a CRM system (experience with CRM tool is highly preferred)
  • Ability to travel as required (minimal travel)
