Job summary

Taney County Partnership in Branson, MO is seeking a Sales Coordinator to provide proactive administrative and event-support for the Sales team. You will manage emails, phone calls, CRM records, scheduling, and communications with partners.

The role requires strong organization, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate trade shows, site visits, and sponsor-related activities. Some evening/weekend events may apply; familiarity with the Branson area is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant experience in administrative support, sales coordination, or event planning.
  • Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and proper insurance coverage.

Description
  • Acts as the administrative support to the Sales team by communicating with inbound and outbound emails, telephone calls, and other communication requests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including prospects, accounts, contacts, leads, and sales activity, to support the sales team and ensure effective follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Sales team members to track, maintain, and report sales and economic impact metrics, ensuring accurate data and supporting informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate scheduling of appointments, meetings, and internal planning sessions for the sales team.
  • Coordinate communications regarding industry updates, sponsorships, and other relevant community-impacting events to stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Assist with communications related to publications, sponsorships, and cooperative opportunities offered by the sales department.
  • Proactively collaborate with the finance department to process sponsorship fees and payments related to industry and local events.
  • Assist in logistics and planning of events, including but not limited to tradeshows, industry events, and local events.
  • Provide support to industry partners regarding education on how to engage with the CVB and utilize the extranet to respond to leads and other industry communications. Offer knowledge and ability to troubleshoot issues with stakeholders in a professional and service -oriented manner.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of site inspections and familiarization (FAM) tours, including booking transportation, arranging accommodations, preparing itineraries, and assembling welcome materials.
  • Manage organization and inventory of promotional items on a monthly basis.
  • Understand organizational and departmental needs enabling an anticipatory approach to challenges, needs, or possible solutions.
  • Performs other duties, as required by the company or delegated by supervisors which may include some evening and weekend events.
  • Some personal cell phone usage required, reimbursed at $30 per month.
Position Overview

The Sales Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support tothe Sales department. The primary duties of this role include proactive administrative assistance, eventlogistics, data collection and management, and inbound/outbound communications to prospects and community stakeholders.

  • Maintain a professional, courteous manner while conducting business inside and outside of the organization.
  • Participate in and contribute to the various staff development activities of the BLACC/CVB.
  • Occasional travel required for trade shows, industry events, and partner functions.

  • May require prolonged standing.
  • Adequate vision and hearing required for computer use and communication.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
