Durango Motor Company in Durango, Colorado, seeks Automotive Sales Consultants for a non-commissioned sales role focused on guest experience. Compensation includes an annual pay range and a training phase with $20/hour while completing the Colorado sales license.

Upon licensing, you transition to the Automotive Sales Consultant compensation structure, with growth potential in a vibrant mountain community and strong team culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete a background check for sales licensing.
• High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, professional demeanor.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly and approachable personality, especially with guest questions or concerns.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (6+ hours).
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs comfortably.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, or stoop occasionally.

• Serve as the vehicle expert by understanding product offerings and packages.
• Deliver high-quality demonstrations of new and pre-owned vehicles.

• Report to the Sales Manager regarding goals and performance.
• Bring a positive attitude and “A-game” to work daily.

Compensation Pay Range: $36,000-$100,000+ annually (minimum of $3,000 per month)

Training Pay: $20/hour for up to 60 days while completing training and working toward your Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) sales license. Once licensed, you will transition to the Automotive Sales Consultant compensation structure.
