Job summary

Mattress Warehouse is seeking motivated Retail Sales Associates to join our Ramsey, NJ location. You will sell premium mattress/bedding products using our bedMatch system, guiding customers through a tailored shopping experience with a proven selling process.

We offer robust compensation with hourly pay or commissions, bonuses, a 401(k) match, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and ongoing training. Evening and weekend shifts and a 4–5 day workweek are common.

Qualifications

• Availability to work evenings, most holidays, and all weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and assist customers with loading purchases onto vehicles.
• Retail sales experience with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Sell mattress and bedding products using the store's proven process.
• Assist customers in selecting products and explain features and benefits.
• Support showroom setup and help customers with loading purchases into their vehicles.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking highly motivated and successful Retail Sales Consultants to assist us in our continuing quest to provide exceptional service to our customers. With over 520 store locations and growing, we have been a leader in the Mattress industry for 35+ years, and we are USA family owned and operated! You will confidently sell our premium mattress/bedding products utilizing our tried and proven selling process and cutting-edge diagnostic sleep system bedMatch .

• We are looking for motivated people with the availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends. Our typical 4-5-day work week offers our Retail Sales Consultants the opportunity to work between 40 and 55 hours a week.
• Bilingual with equal fluency in verbal and written English and Spanish or other languages a plus!
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset the showroom floor, and assist customers with loading their mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
• You will provide our customers with a relaxed, low pressure and educational shopping experience focusing on improving their lives through our sleep solutions.
• We use state of the art technology including tablets, mobile point of sales (POS), and our exclusive bedMatch system.
