Job summary

Mattress Warehouse, a leading bedding retailer in the United States, is seeking enthusiastic Retail Sales Consultants in Nanuet, NY. You will guide customers through selecting mattresses using our bedMatch system and a consultative sales approach.

You will work a retail schedule including evenings and weekends, with energetic teamwork and a focus on customer satisfaction and product knowledge. Training and benefits support growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Availability for a retail schedule including evenings, most holidays, and weekends.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and assist customers with loading purchases.
• Comfort using tablets, POS devices, and our bedMatch system.
• Customer-focused, energetic and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Sell premium mattresses using our proven selling process and bedMatch system.
• Provide a relaxed, low-pressure shopping experience and understand customer needs.
• Use tablets and POS systems to complete transactions and assist customers.
• Assist customers with loading mattress purchases into their vehicles.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking highly motivated and successful Retail Sales Consultants to assist us in our continuing quest to provide exceptional service to our customers. With over 520 store locations and growing, we have been a leader in the Mattress industry for 35+ years, and we are USA family owned and operated! You will confidently sell our premium mattress/bedding products utilizing our tried and proven selling process and cutting-edge diagnostic sleep system bedMatch .

• We are looking for motivated people with the availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends. Our typical 4-5-day work week offers our Retail Sales Consultants the opportunity to work between 40 and 55 hours a week.
• Bilingual with equal fluency in verbal and written English and Spanish or other languages a plus!
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset the showroom floor, and assist customers with loading their mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
• You will provide our customers with a relaxed, low pressure and educational shopping experience focusing on improving their lives through our sleep solutions.
• We use state of the art technology including tablets, mobile point of sales (POS), and our exclusive bedMatch system.
