Are you a technical sales hunter who understands wireless infrastructure and loves creating new business?
We’re looking for a Sales Consultant to sell highly specialized RF-over-Fiber solutions into some of the most sophisticated wireless and communications environments in the country.
This is not a Sales Engineer role. You’ll own the commercial relationship and sales process while partnering with experienced Sales Engineers who handle deeper technical solution design.
Your job is to find the opportunity, understand the customer’s challenge, build relationships with the right decision-makers, create momentum, and drive the business through close.
You’ll work with wireless carriers, system integrators, neutral host providers, public safety organizations, engineering firms, government and defense applications, satellite communications providers, and other complex RF environments.
This role offers an interesting mix of new-business development and account expansion.
At launch, the business mix is expected to be approximately 50% new-business development and 50% expansion within existing customers.
Sales cycles vary based on the opportunity. Straightforward product transactions may close in less than a month, complex solutions commonly run three to six months, and larger strategic initiatives may develop over multiple years.
This position is based in the Greater Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley area.
The first six months are onsite Monday through Friday to accelerate product knowledge, technical learning, and collaboration with the engineering and sales teams.
After the initial six-month ramp period, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days onsite per week.
The position also includes approximately 30% national travel for customer meetings, business development, trade shows, and industry events. Travel expenses are company-paid.
You don’t need to be the engineer in the room.
You do need to understand enough technically to uncover the opportunity, ask intelligent questions, earn credibility, and know when to bring the technical experts into the conversation.
If you’re a technical seller, relentless prospector, and relationship builder who understands the RF/wireless ecosystem and wants to own the commercial side of complex opportunities, we’d love to talk.
