Job summary

Victory Automotive Group, a family‑owned dealer with locations nationwide, is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join the team at our Canton location in Michigan. The role involves guiding customers through vehicle selections, presenting new and pre‑owned inventory, and providing a professional, informative buying experience.

You will work to promote options, discuss financing, and maintain relationships to encourage repeat business, while meeting sales goals in a collaborative

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Professional and dependable with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with vehicle selection and explain options, financing, and add-ons.
• Conduct vehicle test drives and ensure compliance with traffic laws.
• Explain vehicle features, operation, warranty, and service requirements to customers.
• Maintain accurate sales documentation and knowledge of vehicles, financing, and promotions.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and optional classes as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Sales Consultant is knowledgeable or has a willingness to learn about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories.

He or she presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion that promotes a prompt sale and maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business.

The ideal candidate may have previous sales experience (in any industry), as well as excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills.
