Job summary

Abbott in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Sales and Category Analyst to support the Kroger team with sales analytics and data-driven insights. Key tools include Power BI, Excel, and Kroger 84.51 data.

You will develop category performance analyses, create reports, and provide recommendations to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions, with regular interaction with customers and the Abbott team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in Sales, Finance or Marketing; bachelor’s degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Communication Proficiency and effective presentation skills.
• Planning & Organization/Workflow Management – establish action plans and monitor results.
• Decision Making and problem-solving using data insights.

Responsibilities

• Develops and communicates sales analysis, insights, and strategy recommendations that advance business goals.
• Provides consumption-based insights for product sales management (assortment, pricing, promotion, profit).
• Manages shipments and consumption data to support monthly forecast processes.
• Tracks promotional performance and ROI; recommends future strategy edits.
• Builds and maintains reporting tools; automates processes where possible.
• Interacts with customers regularly and participates in quarterly planning sessions and IBP.
