NovoPath is embarking on its next phase of growth after establishing itself as a leading, U.S. based Lab Information Systems (LIS) company. With over 25 years of experience serving the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Molecular and Genetic Testing, and Clinical Trials markets, NovoPath provides a powerful SaaS solution that enables labs to maximize efficiency and reduce human error, promoting superior patient care. The Company is highly regarded in the market for their innovation, customer experience, and product features.

THE POSITION:

As a Business Development Representative you will serve a critical role in NovoPath’s sales process in many cases as the “tip of the spear” or first prospect contact point. The right candidate will be one who enjoys leading and using the latest tactics to connect with prospects, works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, is highly self-motivated and can easily initiate relaxed but informative two-way conversations with prospects. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a prospect’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  1. Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
  2. Utilize Salesforce, HubSpot, 6Sense, cold calling, email and other tools to generate new sales leads and opportunities
  3. Manage and qualify inbound lead follow-up
  4. Team with client services and account management to build pipeline
  5. Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  6. Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  7. Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market
  8. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  9. Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account intelligence
  10. Work closely with client services teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  1. Track record of over-achieving quota
  2. Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  3. Experience working with Salesforce and HubSpot
  4. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  5. Strong listening and presentation skills
  6. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  7. Energy to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  8. Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win
  9. Nice to have: Healthcare or B2B SaaS experience

POSITION & WORKPLACE DETAILS:

  1. This is a full-time, salaried position
  2. This position is a 100% remote role
  3. Travel up 3 or 4 times a year for Sales Kick Off, company meetings, customer visit
  4. Role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales

Salary Description:

Base pay 50k-65k DOE + Bonus/Commissions up to 20k
