Job summary

Maruwa America Corporation is seeking a highly motivated New Graduate Business Development (Sales) to join our dynamic sales team at our offices in Santa Ana or El Segundo, California.

This role focuses on expanding our market presence by collaborating with manufacturing companies and design houses within the Semiconductor, Telecommunication and Aerospace sectors— especially in emerging and strategic markets.

Qualifications

• Open to new graduates residing in the US.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the US and occasional international travel.
• Strong communication skills in Japanese, both verbal and written.
• Valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for electronic components across North America.
• Evaluate and coordinate new projects internally and externally, including within affiliated companies.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing technical and commercial support.
• Conduct on-site customer visits to support design-in activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences.
• Achieve sales targets defined by management.
• Prepare timely reports for management and headquarters.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams.
• Manage customer inquiries, quotations and delivery schedule coordination across stakeholders.

Employer Information:

Form of employment: Full-Time (On-site)

Working hours: from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with one hour break

Flexible start time: between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM (30-minute increments)
