About the Role
EUROGERM is seeking a strategic, results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate commercial growth and expand our presence in the U.S. bakery and food ingredients market.
This role is responsible for executing EUROGERM's U.S. commercial strategy in alignment with Group priorities, with a strong focus on new business development, strategic key accounts, and expansion into new market segments.
The ideal candidate combines a hands-on approach to prospecting and relationship building with the ability to think strategically about markets, customers, and long-term growth. You will manage the full business development cycle—from identifying and qualifying opportunities through product presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing—while developing lasting relationships with bakery customers and key decision-makers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys developing markets, creating new customer relationships, and working collaboratively with technical and operational teams to deliver ingredient solutions that create value for customers.
As Business Development Manager, you will play an important role beyond individual sales opportunities. You will contribute to annual business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and the development of commercial priorities for the U.S. market.
You will also provide reliable reporting and market intelligence to leadership, collaborate across functions, and help strengthen teamwork between commercial, technical, and operational teams.
The position is expected to operate in accordance with EUROGERM Group standards and policies related to safety, hygiene, quality, trade compliance, ethics, diversity and inclusion, environmental sustainability, and professional conduct.
Success in this role means developing a strong and sustainable pipeline, converting new opportunities into profitable customer relationships, expanding strategic accounts, and helping EUROGERM enter new segments of the U.S. bakery market.
You will become a trusted partner to customers by understanding both their technical challenges and commercial objectives, while bringing valuable market insights back to the organization to support innovation and future growth.
The base salary range for this position is $120,000–$130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and relevant industry expertise.
This position requires approximately 50% travel for customer meetings, product trials, prospect visits, trade shows, conferences, and other business activities. The role also includes regular computer-based work and periodic work within bakery, production, laboratory, and warehouse environments.
