JAX Mercantile Co. is seeking a Sales Associate for our JAX Outdoor Gear, Farm & Ranch location in West Loveland, CO. You will greet customers, answer questions honestly, and suggest products that meet their needs in a friendly, professional environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, completing records and reports, and collaborating with the Department Manager and Buyers' Team to keep shelves stocked with top products. A part-time schedule is available with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service and friendly, informed answers to questions.
• Cashiering experience is desired for processing payments and handling transactions.
• Computer skills and comfort with basic software are required.
• Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team.
• Strong attention to detail in inventory, merchandising, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide honest, informative product guidance.
• Assist with stocking shelves and visual merchandising as needed.
• Participate in loss prevention efforts and maintain a clean, organized area.
• Communicate professionally and present a professional appearance.

Join our local, family and employee-owned company as a Sales Associate in our JAX Outdoor Gear, Farm & Ranch location in West Loveland, CO. Our Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers, providing honest and informative answers to questions, making suggestions about products that customers might want, and performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation. All JAX employees are expected to provide excellent customer service, engaging with people and sharing excitement about our store. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting the Department Manager, and providing customer feedback to Department Managers and the Buyers' Team so our stores remain stocked with only the best products our customers have come to expect from JAX. Additional tasks may include:

• Accurately processing payments
• Helping with visual merchandising
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked area
• Complete record-keeping tasks and contributing to reports
• Learning about products to provide better answers to customer questions
• Assisting in loss prevention efforts
• Communicating professionally
• Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
• Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers
• Assisting in inventory responsibilities

Our ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, and is willing to pitch-in where needed. Additional knowledge, skills or abilities include:

• Previous knowledge or experience with work & Western clothing brands carried by JAX preferred
• Cashiering experience desired
• Computer proficiency required
• Works well with others
• Organizational skills

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Pay Range:$15.16 to $16.25 hourly

Positions: 1 Part Time position available
