JAX Mercantile in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Sales Associate to welcome customers and provide expert product guidance on footwear and outdoor gear. This part-time role requires weekend availability and a proactive, team-oriented approach to helping customers find the right items.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide honest, informative answers to questions about products.
• Make product recommendations and assist with locating items.
• Stock shelves, maintain a tidy department, and assist with visual merchandising.
• Process payments accurately.
• Relay customer feedback to the manager and support loss prevention efforts.
• Assist in inventory responsibilities and ensure professional appearance.

Our Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers, providing honest and informative answers to questions, making suggestions about products that customers might want, and performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, tracking down products for customers, keeping the department tidy, relaying customer feedback to their manager, and assisting with visual merchandising of products in the store. Additional tasks may include:

• Accurately processing payments
• Helping with displays and visual merchandising
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked area
• Learning about products to provide better answers to customer questions
• Assisting in loss prevention efforts
• Communicating professionally
• Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
• Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers
• Assisting in inventory responsibilities

Our ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, and is willing to pitch-in where needed. Additional knowledge, skills or abilities include:

• Engaging and positive
• Requires enthusiasm and interest in quality footwear for daily work and wear as well as outdoor adventures
• Previous knowledge or experience with brands carried by JAX preferred
• Cashiering experience desired

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available Weekends
• Flexible shifts available the rest of the week

Pay Range:$15.16 - $16.50 hourly

Positions: Part-Time positions available
