Job summary

DSI Systems, Inc. in Newington, CT, is hiring energetic Retail Sales Associates to represent AT&T in a store-within-a-store setting. You will engage customers, educate them on wireless plans, and close sales.

The role offers competitive hourly pay plus uncapped commissions, paid training, and clear opportunities for advancement. 1+ year of retail or customer service experience is preferred and you must be 18+.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable in a high-traffic retail environment.
• Able to stand and walk 8+ hours.
• Goal-oriented with ability to meet sales targets.
• Basic tech skills: POS, mobile devices, tablets.
• Flexible schedule; including weekends.

Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work inside a high-traffic retail partner location representing AT&T products and services. This is an inside retail sales role focused on customer engagement, product education, and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and proactively engage customers in a busy retail sales environment
• Identify customer needs through consultative selling and active listening
• Educate customers on AT&T wireless products, devices, plans, and services
• Drive retail sales performance by meeting and exceeding sales goals
• Process transactions, activate service plans, and complete sales accurately
• Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently recommend solutions
• Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and brand compliance
• Work collaboratively with team members to maximize store sales performance

Retail Sales Associate Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 1+ year of retail sales, customer service, or face-to-face sales experience (Preferred)
• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a high-traffic retail sales environment
• Ability to perform essential job functions, including standing and walking for the duration of an 8+ hour shift
• Goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets
• Basic technology proficiency (POS systems, mobile devices, tablets)
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends as needed
