GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate creates an outstanding optical experience for our guests by combining their knowledge, experience, personality, and understanding of the guests’ needs with our high-quality fashion brands.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consistently achieve sales goals and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and developing new ones.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
  • Participate actively and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff (Target Host partners).
  • Maintain the appearance of the store, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
  • Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, along with basic math skills
  • Comfort with adopting new technology and adapting to change with high accuracy
  • Strong sales skills and accountability for meeting sales goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
