GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate is responsible for creating an outstanding optical experience for our guests by bringing together their knowledge, experiences and personality with the guests' needs and our high-quality fashion brands.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
  • Participate actively and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain the store’s appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
  • Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills
  • Embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
  • Ability to sell using sales skills and accountability for results, with a desire to meet goals
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
