CBD Kratom is seeking a Sales Associate (Doyen) in Belleville, IL for a full-time, on-site role. Earn $16.00 per hour with monthly bonuses and excellent employee benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

You will train to become a trusted voice in cannabis and kratom, delivering exceptional customer service and upselling where appropriate. Role requires evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Job Type:Full-Time

Pay:$16.00 per hour

This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with United Food Commercial Workers (UFCW), Local 881. Pay rate and wage increases are set per the contract. As a condition of employment, you will be required to pay union dues or equivalent service fees starting on your 31st day of employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve subject matter expert status through comprehensive 14-day onboarding and continuous engagement with company-provided educational platforms.
• Use consultative selling behaviors and a "service first" mindset to help customers find exactly what they need. Actively up-sell products while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for point-of-sale transactions, including cash handling and maintaining a bank.
• Maintain store standards and provide daily operational and inventory updates to leadership.
• Clean, organize and stock store displays, storage areas, and restrooms including stooping, bending, reaching, twisting, etc.
• May be given opening and closing responsibilities including cash drop, keyholder responsibilities, etc.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift/move up to 15 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Must be a "people person" who is passionate about our products and company culture.
