CBD Kratom is seeking a Sales Associate (Doyen) to join our team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will train to become a trusted voice in cannabis and kratom, handling sales, customer service and product knowledge.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Achieve subject matter expert status through comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training.
• Use consultative selling and a service-first mindset to help customers find what they need and upsell when appropriate.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions, including cash handling and banking.
• Maintain store standards and provide daily operational and inventory updates to leadership.
• Keep displays, storage areas and restrooms clean, organized and stocked.
• Open/close responsibilities including cash drop and keyholder duties if assigned.

Job Type:Part-Time

Pay:$19.00 per hour

• Eligible for monthly bonuses based on store performance offering from $75 - $275 based on store volume and % sales to goal.
• Eligible for performance-based merit reviews every 6 months, offering a total annual increase potential of up to $1.00/hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve subject matter expert status through comprehensive 14-day onboarding and continuous engagement with company-provided educational platforms.
• Use consultative selling behaviors and a "service first" mindset to help customers find exactly what they need. Actively up-sell products while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for point-of-sale transactions, including cash handling and maintaining a bank.
• Maintain store standards and provide daily operational and inventory updates to leadership.
• Clean, organize and stock store displays, storage areas, and restrooms including stooping, bending, reaching, twisting, etc.
• May be given opening and closing responsibilities including cash drop, keyholder responsibilities, etc.
  

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift/move up to 15 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Must be a "people person" who is passionate about our products and company culture.
