Job summary

Goodwill Central Coast is seeking a store associate to support daily operations at our Watsonville retail and donation sites. You will greet donors and customers, assist with product selection, handle cash transactions, and help open/close the store while maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

This role requires basic math, cash register familiarity, and the ability to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and work as part of a team. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY: Perform related duties supporting the operation of retail store locations. Serve donors and customers in various ways, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Provide outstanding customer service to promote store sales and achieve store goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIESGreet donors and customers when they enter the store location and/or attached donation site. Offer assistance and suggestions to customers when making product selections.Become trained in cash handling and using the store cash register system. Utilize training to complete customer transactions accurately while following all related procedures.Assist with store opening/closing procedures.Merchandise inventory on the sales floor, following defined procedures.
