Job summary

Goodwill Central Coast is seeking a Store Associate to support daily retail operations in Scotts Valley, CA. You will greet donors and customers, assist in product selection, and process transactions using the cash register system, helping to promote store sales.

On-site role with opening/closing duties, inventory stocking, and donation prep. No prior experience required; basic math and strong customer service are essential. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; training provided.

JOB SUMMARY: Perform related duties supporting the operation of retail store locations. Serve donors and customers in various ways, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Provide outstanding customer service to promote store sales and achieve store goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIESGreet donors and customers when they enter the store location and/or attached donation site. Offer assistance and suggestions to customers when making product selections.Become trained in cash handling and using the store cash register system. Utilize training to complete customer transactions accurately while following all related procedures.Assist with store opening/closing procedures.Merchandise inventory on the sales floor, following defined procedures.
