Job summary

The Beaufort Bonnet Company in Houston, TX is seeking a friendly retail team member to create an exceptional in-store experience, help customers select products, and maintain a welcoming shop atmosphere.

With 0-1 year of retail experience preferred, you will stay energized, collaborate with teammates, and support daily store operations while upholding product knowledge and service standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 0-1 year of retail experience.
  • Bending/stooping/kneeling required; lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Oxford Industries participates in E-Verify.
  • Right to Work Statement in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the overall concept of the company, including the lifestyle, the customer, the merchandise, etc.
  • Create an exceptional in-store experience consistent with company culture.
  • Build and cultivate effective relationships with the customer.
  • Commit to delivering an optimistic, high energy, team oriented and sunny store atmosphere.
  • Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge with customers; providing prompt recommendations and professional service to enhance their shopping experience (e.g. fit, fashion wardrobe advice and suggesting add-ons).
  • Actively participate in all store-related meetings, working towards exceeding sales and service performance goals set by store management.
  • Maintain high standards of the store appearance.
  • Provide ideas to grow and improve the business.
  • Maintain the integrity of the inventory.
