Job description

The Sales Associate & Operations is responsible for generating sales through exceptional client relations and product knowledge while also ensuring that the operation side of the business is taken care of.

This position is inside the Men's corner in Bloomingdale's.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving sales by achieving sales goals, building and developing client relationships with existing and new clients.
• Provide an excellent customer experience with new and existing customers while maintaining brand standards.
• Ensure prompt follow up with client purchases, repairs, and inquiries.
• Resolve customer service issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain an active neat and organized client book proactively contacting clients and providing appropriate follow up on all sales or client requests.

Client Management and CRM

• Actively participate in managing customer relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Increase new client database while maintaining existing relationships with loyal client base in order to promote customer loyalty.
• Manage personal CRM KPIs set by Retail Management, ensuring that the necessary customer data is collected to contribute to the CRM reporting and strategy.
• Support all in store marketing events.

Visual

• Follows visual merchandising practices and standards, ensuring that the store and the product image are aligned with the Central Visual guidelines for sales floor and window displays.

Operations and Procedures

• Able to perform all aspects of daily duties including and not limited to opening/closing procedures, POS operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving and inventory control.

Stock

• Support the store in the optimization of the stockroom in order to guarantee that the back of the house is designed and set up to support the front of the house efficiently.
• Ensure the care of all the products and materials in the stockroom and upheld to company standards at all times.
• Support all activities related to the daily closings, and inventory procedures based on the company guidelines.

Required Skills

• Must be able to bend, squat, reach, and climb as needed for stocking. Climbing a ladder may be required.
• Push and pull racks or merchandise as needed.
• Capable of lifting to 50 lbs.
• Uninterrupted standing for extended periods of time.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
• Uniforms: Must be able to wear company uniform daily. Brands assigned by employer in several types of textiles such as linen, cotton, wool, silk, acrylic, cashmere, etc.
