Job summary

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Inc. in Nashville, TN (Opry Mills) is seeking a friendly part-time Sales Associate to greet customers, demonstrate merchandise, and guide purchases to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include processing payments on the POS, handling returns, stocking shelves, keeping the store clean, and meeting sales goals in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and 6+ months retail experience are preferred.

• Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.
• Answers customers’ questions about products and merchandise.
• Assists customers with purchase decisions and encourages them to return.
• Collects payments and accurately operates a POS system.
• Processes returns and exchanges.
• Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations; places special orders as needed.
• Cooks and/or hand dips store made product to meet store requirements and order demands.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail environment.
• Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
