GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store every time. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Consistently deliver sales plan and meet company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, helping customers choose the perfect vision solution.
4. Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
5. Participate actively in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the appearance of the store by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Ability to sell using sales skills and take accountability for sales results, with a goal-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment
