Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Milwaukee is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver world-class service, assist customers with gifts, registry, and merchandise, and help create a memorable shopping experience.

You will apply effective selling techniques, maintain product knowledge, operate the POS, and support visual merchandising efforts while meeting daily sales goals. Weekend availability may be required in a fast-paced specialty retail setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years customer service and retail sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly, energetic customer service exemplifying World-Class standards.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, registry, catalogs, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders.
• Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and features/benefits.
• Operate POS system for sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of visual merchandise presentation, signage and lighting.
• Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards; straighten, clean and help maintain stockroom as needed.
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
