(Sales Associate, Full-Time) Editor, Soho Flagship

As an Editor, it is your job to ensure the customer experience reflects our product presentation, packaging, and care. As an avid team player, you will collaborate with all store team members to ensure every customer touchpoint is cohesive and seamless. Editors will be part of a team of passionate storytellers, driven by curiosity and the power of the Glossier community, reimagining beauty one experience at a time.

As part of the store team, you will be fully immersed in all aspects of our customers’ journeys. You will be trained in both customer-facing and back-of-house operations to support the entire customer experience, working in both environments as needed.

Performance Expectations:

  • Model and coach Glossier’s customer experience principles, ensuring memorable and inspiring experiences.

  • Become an expert on our product portfolio, understanding basics, benefits, application, and customer recommendations.
  • Fulfill customer orders promptly and accurately.
  • Build relationships with repeat customers through proactive engagement.
  • Master customer service standards, serving as an exemplary team member.
  • Monitor and share customer feedback with leadership.
  • Become a brand ambassador, knowledgeable about all aspects of Glossier.

Teamwork:

  • Operate with optimism and joy—having fun is encouraged!
  • Ensure safety standards are followed and hazards are reported.
  • Communicate feedback on inventory, packaging, and customer experiences with leadership.
  • Assist with product demonstrations and training of new team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with all store team members on projects and tasks.

Operational Excellence:

  • Adhere to safety standards, including COVID-19 protocols.
  • Restock and manage inventory accurately and efficiently.
  • Inspect and manage shipment deliveries diligently.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store setup projects.
  • Uphold presentation standards and confidentiality.
  • Multitask effectively without compromising service quality.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment, retail or hospitality preferred.
  • Experience in beauty/skincare sales or advisory roles preferred.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for creating memorable personal interactions.
  • Commitment to inclusion and empathy.
  • Operational understanding of retail logistics and customer service.
  • Willingness to assist wherever needed and work as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Experience with POS and inventory systems is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Estimated pay range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour.
  • Full-time roles include comprehensive benefits: health insurance, 401K, PTO, disability leave, and more.
  • Part-time roles include benefits like PTO and disability leave.
  • Compensation based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
