Job summary

United Pacific is seeking a Sales Associate to join our store team in El Monte, CA. You will assist in day-to-day operations, handle cash, maintain lighting and fixtures, and protect inventory and cash from loss while delivering friendly, customer-focused service.

You will report to the Store Manager and use a cash register and computer console, among other equipment. The role requires standing for long periods, light lifting, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash handling, lighting/fixtures cleaning & maintenance.
• Ensure security of inventory and currency to prevent theft.
• Learn to operate a cash register, computer console, and related equipment.
• Report to Store Manager under company policies and procedures.
