Job summary

United Pacific is seeking a Sales Associate to support store operations with a focus on customer service and cash handling. The role includes operating a cash register, maintaining clean lighting and fixtures, and protecting inventory and currency from loss.

Candidates should be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Eligible for benefits with full-time status, with additional programs like tuition reimbursement and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods of time.
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• Stand or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Physically able to lift, push, and pull at least 20 lbs.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 20 lbs from ground to overhead for stocking.
• Occasionally climb a ladder to stock or retrieve materials and place/remove signage.
• Most work indoors, with some outdoor periods.
• Work in small spaces at times.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Assist in store operations and maintenance, including lighting/fixtures cleaning.
• Ensure inventory and currency security to prevent theft and shrinkage.
• Learn to operate the cash register, computer console, and related tools.
• Report to Store Manager and follow company policies.
