A day in the life
You will play a meaningful role as part of a top-notch team of professionals who are driving value for Prologis as we grow from over 500MW to 1000MW on our buildings by 2025 in contribution to our net zero by 2040 strategy. The Prologis Energy Team is seeking an ambitious and passionate Sales Associate to support energy solutions to customers across the United States.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interface with customers and local teams to gather utility data, building specifications, customer preferences, and other key inputs to model energy solutions and prepare compelling customer proposals.
  • Run initial portfolio and individual project reviews, including indicative designs, proposal modeling and deal economics.
  • Manage key sales document templates, including solar power purchase agreements (PPAs), leasing agreements and marketing collateral. Draft key paperwork and contracts (e.g. PPA and lease amendments) for customer review.
  • Conduct preliminary pricing desk analysis to estimate internal and external value.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to create solar energy proposals based on site assessments and customer preferences.
  • Support sales manager pitches, including preparing customer proposals, conducting research on customer needs (e.g. building data, environmental goals, etc.), and track meeting cadence and deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively with development, execution, asset management, and finance teams to move contracts through approval process.
  • Field new interest and develop/maintain a growing database of leads and effectively prioritize them for sales outreach.


Building blocks for success
Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in the energy field and/or solar industry.
  • Experience with Energy Toolbase, Helioscope, and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communications, including excellent presentation skills.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience in real estate.
  • Demonstrated experience working laterally with business leaders to streamline processes and resolve barriers.

Hiring Salary Range of: $108,000-$154,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
