Position Objective

The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer‑focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximum profitability.

Functional Responsibilities

Drive for Results

• Meet company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
• Recommend merchandise selections or help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, pricing and visual standards.
• Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention and all other duties as directed by Management.
• Participate in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.

Customer Experience

• Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni‑channel experience.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
• Ensure a fast and efficient register experience, remaining current on payment policies, coupon acceptance, returns and exchanges, security practices and other applicable operations.
• Reinforce buying decisions at checkout and achieve add‑on goals including gift card sales.
• Sign up clients for reward programs.
• Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobe management.
• Know current product fit and style assortment offerings in store and online.
• Maintain consistent client communication through utilization of a customer book.

Operational Excellence

• Support replenishment activities that keep the store full and abundant.
• Assist with locate fulfillment.
• Assist with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement and other related tasks as directed.
• Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Constant walking/standing – 67–100% of an 8‑hour shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. – 1–33% of an 8‑hour shift.
