Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Associate to drive the growth of Caper’s partnerships with schools, educators, foundations, and families. This is an inside sales role focused on outreach, relationship development, and closing new business opportunities across the education and non-profit sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound outreach to schools, educators, non-profits, and other potential partners (VC firms, EdTech companies)
  • Qualify leads, deliver compelling sales presentations, and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects through regular communication and follow-up.
  • Understand client needs and tailor Caper’s offerings to best meet their goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
  • Accurately track all interactions and opportunities in our CRM system.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Strong preference for experience selling to schools, educational institutions, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Comfortable conducting product demos and presentations via Zoom or phone.
  • Passion for education, skills development, and/or social impact.

Compensation:

This role offers a non-recoverable draw of $2,000 per month for the first six (6) months of employment, plus a 10% commission on all closed revenue. Following the initial draw period, the role transitions to a standard base salary plus commission structure. Final compensation will be based on experience and performance.
