Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates is seeking a high-energy Sales Associate for a part-time role in our New York studio. You will drive membership sales, support members, and embody the BODYBAR vibe alongside a fun, motivated team. Reporting to the Studio Manager, this role offers flexible hours and opportunities for growth.

Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, with potential performance-based bonuses and perks such as apparel discounts. Previous retail or fitness experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Goal-oriented with ability to generate membership and retail sales.
• Fluent English with excellent communication in person, phone and email.
• Proficient with computers and studio software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive studio growth by owning the sales process—generate leads, follow up, and convert interest to memberships.
• Build strong relationships with members through proactive communication and personalized support.
• Hit daily goals—from bookings to outreach to membership sales.
• Be our brand ambassador—represent BODYBAR at local events and grow presence in the community.
• Stay organized by logging member bookings and interactions accurately.
• Create a welcoming studio vibe by engaging with members before and after class.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Goal-oriented with an ability to generate membership, retail, and private training sales
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills in-person, via phone and email
• Passionate about fitness
• Professional, trustworthy, and punctual
• Proficient with computers and studio software
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
