We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who hold an active insurance producer license and are eager to build their career in sales. You will work with warm leads, conduct outreach by phone and email, represent the company at conferences, and manage client relationships using our CRM system and proprietary technology. This role combines client interaction, sales pipeline management, event participation, and collaboration with internal teams to support outreach initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive outreach via phone and email to leads provided by the company.
- Engage prospects to understand their needs and match them with appropriate insurance solutions.
- Manage and track opportunities through the sales pipeline using the company’s CRM system and proprietary technology platforms.
- Accurately enter and update client and lead information.
- Assist in preparing sales reports, tracking metrics, and identifying areas of opportunity.
- Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities to generate leads and drive sales.
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams on ad hoc campaigns and special outreach initiatives.
- Provide feedback on prospects, sales activity, and events to inform future marketing and product strategies.
- Maintain compliance with all industry regulations and internal company policies.
Requirements
- Demonstrates a high standard of professional conduct, and is a demonstrated collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a high ability to communicate with all levels within The Trust.
- An active Maryland Property and Casualty License is required; must maintain in good standing.
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related role preferred (internship or entry-level experience acceptable).
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and sending prospective emails.
- Experience with CRM software and sales technology platforms.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and data entry skills.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or related field (preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain seated for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to perform repetitive keyboarding tasks on a consistent basis.
