Job summary

United Bank is seeking a friendly Teller/Customer Service Associate to support daily branch operations in Red Bug, NC. You will handle cash transactions, assist customers, and promote banking solutions with a professional demeanor.

Strong communication skills in English are essential; experience in money handling and familiarity with Word/Excel is a plus. Training is provided to develop product knowledge and sales abilities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the Bank’s in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
• Previous customer service contact experience is highly desired.
• Ability to demonstrate a sales-oriented professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills required; Verbal and written communications skills in Spanish or additional language a plus.
• Experience in handling money preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel) required.
• Understanding and working knowledge of appropriate core banking system is a plus.
• Detail oriented.
• Professionalism and confidentiality are essential.
• Flexibility on work schedule as business needs arise.
