Position Description

Position Title: Sales Associate
Reports To: Store Leader
Classification: Part‑Time/Non‑Exempt/Hourly

Position Overview

The Sales Associate role ensures every single Range USA customer is provided the assistance and knowledge to fulfill the experience they are seeking. The main responsibility is to convert Range USA customers to buyers with sales that fulfill the desired experience.

Job Description

• Commitment to the mission of Range USA by providing the easiest and best customer service.
• Provide outstanding customer service dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and fostering lasting relationships.
• Greet customers and facilitate the customer experience.
• Convert customers to buyers by asking for the sale to fulfill desired experience.
• Ensure customers leave with the complete package supporting their main purchase.
• Inform customers of range services, discounts, exclusive offers, sales, and promotions.
• Conduct range customer check‑in efficiently and friendly.
• Maintain the range timer for proper tracking of customer time.
• Ensure an efficient and compliant range firearm rental process.
• Utilize radios to communicate with the Range Safety Officer regarding safety and customer issues.
• Answer customer questions regarding product pricing, features, benefits, and availability.
• Maintain compliance with all involved government agencies including 4473 and background check processes.
• Remain up‑to‑date on new product and industry news.
• When acting as an e‑commerce picker, the pickup dashboard must be checked every hour and new orders should be picked.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of customer service sales experience, preferably within a specialty retail environment.
• Ability to understand, recall and follow complex compliance regulations and handle highly confidential information.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Extended periods of standing.
• Lifting and/or pushing objects up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Working at heights up to 10 ft.
