Job summary

Anderson and Koch Ford is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our new car sales team. The right candidate will have sales experience and enjoy working with people in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales background preferred.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers who enter the dealership, answering questions and helping them select a vehicle that fits their needs.
• Explain product performance, options and benefits to prospects and describe all available equipment; determine customer needs by asking questions and listening.
• Review and analyze daily/weekly/monthly performance to improve time management and planning.
• Offer test drives to prospects and obtain proper identification prior to test drive following dealership procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
• Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification prior to test drive

Requirements:

• Automotive sales background preferred
