Job summary

United Bank is seeking a Sales Associate in Morgantown to deliver exceptional service at the teller line and support sales opportunities. The role emphasizes customer interaction, accurate cash handling, and adherence to bank policies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, training through our in-house program, and strong communication skills; Spanish or another language ability is a plus. Training is provided to build product knowledge and sales techniques.

Qualifications

• Candidates with money handling experience and confidentiality awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sit/stand for extended periods while assisting customers.
• Operate computer, keyboard, and teller equipment to process transactions.
• Receive documents and interact with staff across levels.
• Lift up to twenty pounds as needed during duties.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in all transactions.
• Communicate effectively to identify and translate customer needs.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the Bank’s in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
• Previous customer service contact experience is highly desired.
• Ability to demonstrate a sales-oriented professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills required; Verbal and written communications skills in Spanish or additional language a plus.
• Experience in handling money preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel) required.
• Understanding and working knowledge of appropriate core banking system is a plus.
• Detailed oriented.
• Professionalism and confidentiality are essential.
• Flexibility on work schedule as business needs arise.
