Job summary

Alfa Gamma Seafood Group in Medley, FL seeks a responsible Sales Associate to drive growth by promoting products, generating leads and closing sales with business customers. You will build and nurture relationships, identify opportunities for new items, and help expand the customer base.

Job description

We are looking for a responsible and highly motivated Sales Associate who is ready to take on all sales responsibilities from generating leads to closing sales. The successful candidate’s main responsibility would be to effectively promote our company and items to increase sales and expand our customer base.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business relationships with prospective new customers to generate new business and revenue growth
• Identify business opportunities for new items
• Effectively manage any existing customer accounts assigned
• Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customer’s needs.
• Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers
• Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone to solicit sales of products
• Explain products and prices, and answer questions from customers
• Open new Accounts as a result of making contacts and cultivating relationships
• Work effectively with the rest of the team in support of the company’s goals, needs, and strategic direction

Requirements

• Experience in business to business sales
• Experience opening new accounts and selling to existing accounts
• Experience in perishable food products, or consumer goods industries
