Job summary

Woodley’s Fine Furniture, Inc. is seeking a Designer/Sales Associate to listen to customers, discuss options, and present design ideas. You will coordinate styles of furniture, fabrics and wood finishes in a fun, casual environment.

The role requires excellent sales and communication skills, weekend availability, and basic computer skills. Training period includes a salary with commissions and opportunities to grow earnings beyond the base.

• Designer education and certificate(s) an advantage, but not required.
• Weekends and most holidays are required.
• Basic computer skills: typing, using email, navigating websites, price lists, and learning our software system

Position Summary:The Designer/Sales Associate will listen to customers’ needs, discuss furniture options and layouts, and effectively present design ideas. Key skills include the ability to coordinate styles of furniture, fabrics and wood finishes. We offer a fun, casual working environment in which we take pleasure in helping people fill their furniture needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Leading, guiding and assisting our customers throughout the entire purchase process


• Develop and maintain customer relationship during and after initial purchase


• Acquire the knowledge and become proficient in the use of our software system, Storis

Experience/Qualifications

Pay Range:Commission based position with salary during the training period-average earnings are $40,000-$75,000 with no limit on success. Top performers can earn $100,000 plus.
